ITFSP will aim to identify and to list the main active co-operative networks and mechanisms that governments may wish to participate in. There is a range of both formal and informal mechanisms PDF logo (92kB) for taking forward international co-operation, for example:

  • Bilateral
  • Within an economic zone
  • Led by one country , actively seeking as wide an international engagement as possible
  • An international organisation in a particular industry
  • Internationally led in response to a broader concern

Activity may vary between a relatively passive sharing of information, to an active strategic push on a particular topic.
